Echo Cartons Seniors Report

The trip Skye was like playing at Heatherton with animals grazing in open fields  surrounded the reserve. It was another tough week at the office for our football teams and it showed that Skye will be a major player come September. An even first term with both sides getting plenty of the ball. Losing Bill early in the in the 2nd quarter robbed us drive and although Tom continued to dominate the hit outs we couldn’t capitalize. Jamo kicked 4 including a classic over his head running away from goal. Brodie and Tosin were another two who played well all day. Anzac Day against Springy this week. Time to stand up.

Packing Boxes Reserves Report

For the first ten minutes of this game the ball was locked in Tunnasforward line but we couldn’t convert. From then Skye began to find space and the goals. Stork dominated the ruck and racked up a heap of possessions. Brucey continued his good form and Axel never gave up.

Paving 2000 Netball Report

Our netballers came away with 2 ½ wins from 5 on the weekend. Div 1 played another classic against Dingley and at the final siren both teams were locked on 33 goals each. Unfortunately Dingley got the better of our Div 2 and 3 teams. Div 4 continued their winning season with a 1 goal win over Skye and Div 5 made it one from two with a 17 goal win over Clayton.
