Tom the Lumberjack Seniors Report

The Tunnas came out of the blocks and had several goals on the board before Springvale could blink thanks to Matty Stuart and Jamo. Whilst Springy were inaccurate at times it was our strong defence that kept the pressure on them for 4 quarters. Poldancer had the job of standing Gough and he kept him to just 3 goals. Connolls was back to his reliable best. Matty V after being eased back into football via the two’s played the entire game and ended with 5 goals and a heap of touches. Stork played his first senior game for the season and had a great day in the ruck and Moon and Bill were prominent. Good to see Prince Harry was also in attendance at our ANZAC Day commemoration.

Harris Family Meats Reserves Report

The two’s took control of this game shortly after the first bounce and ran out comfortable winners. Tucks was clearly the best player on the ground. Craig Earle played his first game for several years and showed he had lost none of his touch. Jacob Holland continued his good form and it was good  to see Goo back controlling the ruck.

Paving 2000 Netball Report

Another mixed bag of netball results from round 3. D1 in a low scoring contest beat Chelsea Heights 10 to nil. D2 had a day out against Hampton and shot an amazing 83 to 15. D3 and D4 lowered their colours to CPL and Keysy respectfully. D5 knocked off Chelt 48 to 21.
