Cody Gems & Jewellery Report

Our 2nd win for the season went begging on the weekend as we faced a Doveton side that from the first bound showed they meant business.  The lead changed several times during the game and when we hit the front early in the last quarter the game appeared to be ours. Doveton settled and kicked the next few and won the game by 15 points.  On a positive note Trevor K made his first appearance for the club and bagged three and gave a few away.  Jesse Stone, Brad Carroll and Jamo played well.

Matty A continues to show what a skilful player he is. Couta turned back the clock and was everywhere. Cooky donned the jumper before Clint arrived and got another game under his belt. Steve Reg was policing the forward line and finished with 3. Dan T played his best game for the club and then walked water in his ‘killer pointed black shoes’ in the ones. Chris ‘Amish’ Russo kicked a goal with one of his first touches for the Tunnas.  Josh Roberts was handy. The Prez decided to don the boundary umpires bib this week and didn’t last out the first quarter due to a calf injury.
